Youth Basketball Camp:            

 

Skyline Head Coach Greg Bruns will be holding a youth basketball camp on July 7 - 10 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Skyline High School for players who will be entering 3rd through 9th grades next school year.  Players will receive a camp t-shirt and will work on basketball offensive and defensive fundamentals daily, play games and compete in numerous fun contests for awards.  The cost is $125 for registrations received by June 15.  After June 15, the cost is $150.  The camp is a fundraiser for the Skyline Girl’s Basketball Booster Club.  Open Gym and Practice Schedule:            

 

The open gym schedule for the remainder of May is Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm at Skyline main gym. Please see the open gym schedule page for the June practice schedule.

 

8th Grade Eligibility: 8th graders who will be attending PCFC as Skyline freshmen next school year are invited to participate in open gyms and June practices provide that they complete and submit a participation waiver.

June Tournaments

 

Varsity and JV teams will be selected in June to play in the following tournaments:

 

June 6 - 7 Mercer Island
June 12 - 14 Meadowdale
June 19 - 21 Oregon City

KingCo Conference Honors:

Congratulations to our 2009 4A All KingCo players!

2nd Team All Conference: Lindsey Perry and Carlie Wolken

Honorable Mention: Mikayla Neves and Kassia Fortier

Senior Night Game:

Seniors Mikayla Neves, Lindsey Perry, Michelle Perry and Carlie Wolken ended the regular season with an exciting win at home over rival Issaquah. The Lady Spartans won 50-48 on a buzzer beater jumper by Carlie Wolken. Thank you seniors for your leadership, effort and great play during your careers at Skyline. We wish all of you the best.

 

Shoot-a-Thon:

 

The Lady Spartans' first annual Shoot-a-Thon fundraiser was a great success! The players raised $4,607 from the event and donated $601 of the proceeds to the Issaquah Food Bank. Thank you to all of the participating players and their sponsors! Information about future fundraising events will be coming soon.
